Highlights
- RMS now recognises a brokerage file it has already imported, even if the file has been renamed, moved to another folder or imported from a different computer
- The warning names the earlier import – number, period, date imported, file and total – so you can check before deciding
- Importing a file anyway now requires typing the earlier import number, and that decision is recorded against the new import with your user name
- A genuinely different file taken from a folder you have used before now gives a note rather than stopping the import
- The force import setting no longer switches off duplicate checking – it now applies to the brokerage date only
- A brokerage import that cannot complete an income split now stops and names the account, instead of reporting success and leaving income undistributed
- Licensing problems are now recorded in enough detail to be diagnosed without a call
